1Before you go
Type a flight number. That’s it.
No forms, no airport codes to look up. Flyaway finds the route, the times and the aircraft, then reminds you the day before and again two hours out.
2In the air
Every flight leaves something behind.
Add a flight by its number and Flyaway keeps the rest: where you went, when, how long you were up there. Here are a few from an example year, with the light outside the window from take-off to landing.

3Your year
It all adds up.
Every flight you add goes on the board. Over a year it turns into a map, a distance and a fleet of your own, without you keeping count.
| Date | Flight | From | To | Seat | Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 18 January 2026 | EK 001 | Dubai | London | 52K | Landed 02:15 |

Most of the way around the world.
27,635 km is 69% of the way around the equator, four flights laid end to end.
And the Moon? The same year gets you 7% of the way there. Keep flying like this and you’d arrive in about 14 years.
Earth, Moon and the distance between them, all to the same scale.
Your fleet, to scale.
Every aircraft you flew on, side by side. Flyaway looks up the type and registration for each flight.

Airbus A350-900 9V-SMF 1 flight
See where your loved ones are.
Add a flight for someone else, like your mum flying home or a friend on their way to see you. While they’re up there, Flyaway shows where they are and how long until they land.
Flying yourself? Send them a link to your trip and they can follow along in a browser, no app needed.

4Back home
Back on the ground, it’s all still there.
The Flyaway app is dark and calm, like the cabin after the lights go down. Three places you’ll spend most of your time:

A flight log that fills itself in
Type a flight number and the route, airline and aircraft appear. Past trips and upcoming ones, in one list.

Your routes on a globe, offline
Spin it at 38,000 feet with the Wi-Fi off. It still works, every line you’ve ever flown.

The numbers, finally
Distance, time in the air, countries and airlines, added up without a spreadsheet.
Curious about somewhere new? Browse 242 airports in 79 countries, look up airlines, or watch the aircraft in the air right now.
Questions, answered.
Is Flyaway free?
Yes. Your flight log, the globe, your stats, backup and share links cost nothing. A Pro plan with live delay and gate updates is on its way for people who fly a lot.
Do I need an account?
No. Your flights live on your phone. An account is only there if you want a backup, or the same flights on more than one device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your flights, the globe and your stats are all on your phone, so they work at 38,000 feet with the Wi-Fi off. Looking up a new flight number needs a connection.
Who can see my flights?
Only you. Your profile is private until you make it public, and a trip is only shared when you send someone its link. Your data is never sold.
Where do the flight details come from?
When you add a flight number, Flyaway looks up the route, times and aircraft with a flight-data service. Aircraft positions in the air come from the OpenSky Network.
Can I run it myself?
Yes. Flyaway is open source. Run the server with Docker Compose, bring your own key for flight lookups, and point the app at it in Settings.
Your flights belong to you.
Your travel history isn’t for sale. Flyaway is open source, so you can read every line of code or run your own copy.
Shade up, seat upright. See you above the clouds.
