Write to support@flyaway.day. Tell us your iPhone model and the app version (Settings → About Flyaway), and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Adding flights
Tap +, type a flight number (for example LX318) or a route, and pick the date. Flyaway fills in the airline, airports and times. You can add your seat, booking reference and notes afterwards.
Do I need an account?
No. Without one, everything stays on your iPhone. An account backs up your flights, syncs them between devices and lets you share a public profile. Sign in from the top of Settings with Apple, Google or your email address.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings, tap your account and choose Delete account. On the web, sign in and go to your account. This deletes your backup, profile and follows from our server immediately. Flights stored on your iPhone stay there until you delete them or remove the app.
Reporting or blocking a profile
If a public profile breaks our community rules, report it: in the app, open the profile and tap •••; on the website, use “Report or block” at the bottom of its page. You can also email support@flyaway.day with the username. We review reports within 24 hours.
To stop seeing someone, block them from the same menu. You won’t see each other’s profiles, and any follows between you end. Blocked accounts are listed in Settings → Following in the app and in your account on the website, where you can unblock them.
Live positions and weather
Live positions come from the OpenSky Network and appear for aircraft that broadcast their position. Weather at your departure and arrival airports needs a free OpenWeather API key, which you can add in Settings → Server and data.
Using your own server
Flyaway can run on a server you host yourself. In the app, open Settings → Server and data → Flyaway server, enter its address and tap Test & Save. Accounts belong to a server, so switching servers signs you out.
